WHO IS THIS FOR?
This retreat is focused on your restoration - body, soul, and spirit.  So, if you're a lady looking for a unique, restorative experience, this is for you. We will all come with our own set of needs and even brokenness. This is a place for you to get away from the hustle, slow your mind down a bit, and allow the Lord to speak truth and healing into your heart and mind. There will be an emphasis on personal restoration as we apply Biblical principles and brain science for breakthrough.

And of course, there will be plenty of time to shop Round Top ‘til you drop.  We believe having fun shopping in Round Top is part of the restoration. So, bring your girlfriends along as we laugh, learn, and find renewal together (Romans 12:2).

WHY SHOULD I GO?
There has been an interesting study in psychology about what happens to the brain when someone is removed from their normal environment with all of their routines, and schedules, and external stimuli, and placed in a new environment. The phenomenon even occurs when the person is driven away from surroundings they're familiar with and into a new city or town. The brain has a shift. Most people report sensing a release of pressure and anxiety, and begin to feel calm and clear headed. Just by being removed from their day-to-day environment! This is exactly what happens when you come to the Restoration and Antiques Retreat on the beautiful property in Round Top. It is then that your body, soul, and spirit are primed for renewal, rejuvenation, and restoration. WHO IS GOING TO BE SPEAKING?
Tricia Zody is our featured speaker for the weekend again. Tricia is a Life Coach for Christian women, podcaster, and speaker. Tricia speaks from a place of understanding what it's like to be completely broken from life's circumstances and the ability to come out on the other side with hope and joy. She is loving and nonjudgmental, yet direct and assured in how she teaches others to live in the same kind of freedom. WHAT IF I DON'T PARTICULARLY LIKE SHOPPING? SHOULD I STILL COME?
This retreat is all about YOU and your restoration! And you definitely don't have to go shopping to get the most out of this retreat. If you'd rather, you are welcome to stay on property and stroll through nature, enjoy a nap in the shade under one of the enormous trees, read a book in a hammock by the lake, play a board game with some friends (Mahjong anyone?), or just enjoy someone not needing you or calling your name for a few hours.

Tricia will be staying on the property and would love to chat about anything that's on your heart and mind. There are some subjects, like Learning the Language of the Masculine (to improve your communication with your man), Moving Through the Seasons of Life, and How to Repair Relationships, that she won't have time to cover in the main sessions that she'd love to discuss in a more intimate setting. Also, there will also be an opportunity to sign up for 30-minutes of private coaching with Tricia during the free-time.

WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW ANYONE?
This retreat is unique in so many ways. One is that it is not sponsored by or organized by any one church. In fact, most of the ladies that attended last year came from all over Houston and the surrounding areas. Even as far as Dallas, TX. There will be many ages, races, and denominations represented. But the one thing you will all have in common is the Lord's help in our healing and restoration that weekend. So, even if you come by yourself, you will quickly be gathered in to the group as family. I guarantee it! 

ABOUT ROUND TOP RETREAT CENTER ~
This special property is nestled between Houston and Austin, and sits on the eastern edge of the Texas Hill Country. The Retreat homes are furnished in the style of an earlier Texas time with antiques and some of the things reminiscent of "Granny's Home." We will be staying in Speas House (original home on the property) and the Inn House for the weekend. One can meander about a mile of walking paths along the gardens and enjoy antique roses, perennials, annuals, and native plants. Several hundred trees provide shady places to sit and peacefully enjoy God's creation.
