NASHVILLE, TN–FEBRUARY 15, 2010–INSPIRESONG ANNOUNCES FINALISTS AND WINNER OF THE INSPIRESONG SONG SEARCH

After reviewing hundreds of songs submitted by Christian independent songwriters worldwide, INSPIRESONG is excited to announce the 10 finalists and the winner of the INSPIRESONG Song Search.

Keith Mohr (president of Indieheaven.com) and Cindy Wilt Colville created the InspireSong Song Search and songwriter retreat. The song search was free to enter for Indieheaven members, and over 300 responded by submitting their best song.

Keith Mohr states, “InspireSong is a great way to us to discover and recognize songwriters who are pursuing excellence in their craft, and helping them improve their songwriting skills. The prizes awarded to our finalists and winner by Cindy Wilt Colville are sure to help songwriters define and refine their unique and diverse gifts and talents.” Finalists are awarded a personal 3 song evaluation, (valued at $500 each), and the winner receives a songwriter development package from Cindy valued at $1500.00

Mohr and Colville are also producing the first annual INSPIRESONG Songwriter Retreat, being held March 19-21, 2010 in near Nashville, TN. Limited to just 30 songwriters, the retreat will feature Colville, Dove Award winner Robert Sterling, Sam and Becky Mizell, Staci Frenes, and several other clinicians. As of February 15, 2010, there are 3 open registration spots left.

Gabriel, Donna Kay, Mark Stuckey, Brandon Scott Smith, Hannah Ford, Tricia Zody, Angela Donadio, Gene Ezell, Keith Elgin, Jamie (Howe) Wolf.

The Grand Prize Winning Songwriter is: Tricia Zody. Congrats to Tricia on her excellent song, “You Are My God.”
